Abstract

Medical record keeping at the General Clinic of Kalisat Public Health Center in Jember is still conducted manually, and patient registration is done using Google Sheets. The medical records staff assigned to filing duties find it difficult to periodically check the monitor to find the required medical records. Furthermore, patient visit reports are still manually calculated, which makes them susceptible to writing errors and inaccuracies in visit counts. The use of manual medical records and manual report recording impacts the speed of service provided and the inability to process data into needed information. The objective of this research is to design and develop an electronic medical record system for outpatient services at the general clinic of Kalisat Public Health Center in Jember, aiming to facilitate service efficiency and enhance the quality of outpatient medical records at Kalisat Public Health Center in Jember. The system development method used is the waterfall method, consisting of stages such as requirement analysis, design, coding, and testing. The data collection techniques employed include observation, interviews, and documentation. The outcome of this research is an electronic medical record system for outpatient services at the general clinic of Kalisat Public Health Center in Jember. This system facilitates staff in patient data recording and retrieval, queue number printing, printing of medical examination results, automatic ICD 10 diagnosis code availability, viewing drug stocks, and generating visit reports, top 10 disease reports, drug reports, and morbidity reports.
