Abstract

Regulation of the Indonesian Minister of Health Number 24 Year 2022 requires all health care facilities to use electronic medical records. EMR is a medical record recording system that is carried out electronically to improve service efficiency. Talango Health Centre plans to implement EMR to follow up on the regulation but there are still obstacles that hinder it. For example, there is no strategy, SOP, computers in several units and budget. In addition, staff have not received training on EMR implementation. Therefore, an assessment of EMR implementation readiness is needed to identify the priority scale that needs to be addressed so that EMR implementation can run optimally. This study aims to analyse the readiness of EMR implementation at Talango Health Centre. This research is a quantitative research. The sample size was 41 respondents. The data collection technique use a questionnaire. The method used is the DOQ-IT method with 4 variables namely human resources, organisational work culture, leadership governance and IT infrastructure. The overall readiness of EMR implementation at Talango Health Centre is in range II with a value of 142.66. Human resources are in the moderately ready category with a score of 2.791 Organisational work culture is in the moderately ready category with a score of 2.799. Leadership governance is in the moderately prepared category with a score of 2.972. IT infrastructure is in the very ready category with a score of 3,290. With that said, it can be concluded that the Talango Health Centre is quite ready to implement EMR. Suggestions for improvements that must be made are making SOP, guidebooks and providing socialization and training to potential users.
