Abstract

Research conducted with the aim of analyzing the inventory control of flour raw materials wheat flour in the production of Pia Tape at Said's Roti Jember Regency. This research classified as descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This research using the EOQ method which includes the calculation of the optimal order quantity, when the company reorders, the amount of security inventory and the total cost of inventory in the procurement of soybean raw materials.Inventory in the procurement of wheat flour raw materials. The results of research on the production of Pia Tape production at Said's Roti in 2023 the optimal order quantity is 429 kg with an order frequency of 2 times. With an order frequency of 10 times. Safety stock of 118,7 kg and the reorder point at 171,2 kg. Total inventory cost amounted to Rp 377.528,764. While the amount of inventory costs based on company policy in 2023 amounted to Rp 884.209,5. Cost savings cost savings on raw material inventory control with the EOQ method amounted to Rp 506.680,736, -. This proves that the use of the EOQ method in controlling raw material inventory can reduce company costs. Raw material inventory control can reduce company costs, so that it can be used as a consideration for companies to use the EOQ method.
