Abstract

Indonesian people still need a lot of soybeans. Soybeans are an industrial raw material with high economic value which can be made into various types of food preparations in the form of tempeh, tofu, soy sauce, soy milk, etc. Apart from that, soybeans can also be used as livestock material. As the population increases, the need for soybeans increases. However, the increase in soybean demand has not been balanced with national soybean productivity. In 2018 national soybean production was around 982,000 tons/ha, while the national demand for soybeans was 3 million tons/year, apart from that, national productivity only reached 1.44 tons/ha. So, one of the efforts to increase national production is that it is necessary to produce new superior soybeans that have high yield potential. From the assembly results, the genotypes GHJ-1, GHJ-2, GHJ-3, GHJ-4, and GHJ-5 were obtained.
