Abstract

This final project report, titled “Developing a Website as One of the Promotional Media for Genius House Jember,” aims to present comprehensive information about the study program to the public. Genius House Jember, an English course institution in Jember Regency, offers classes for various levels and promotes itself mainly through Facebook and Instagram. To reach a wider audience, a website was developed using methods such as observation, interviews, documents, and audiovisual materials. The bilingual website (Indonesian and English) includes sections like home, course programs, facilities, teacher profiles, events, gallery, and location. The development process followed five steps: planning, analyzing, designing and developing, testing, and implementing and maintaining. The writer faced challenges due to a lack of in-depth knowledge of website development and mastering Google Sites but gained valuable experience in website creation, emphasizing the importance of design elements and implementing skills like computer usage, translation, and writing.
