Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of fertilisation methods and the addition of Mono Kalium Phosphate (MKP) fertiliser on the production and quality of mung bean seeds (Vigna radiata L.) was carried out in September-December 2023, at the research field in Gunungsari Village, Umbulsari District, Jember Regency and Seed Laboratory of Jember State Polytechnic. This study used a factorial Randomised Block Design (RBD) consisting of two factors and repeated 4 times. The first factor is the fertiliser method (C) which consists of spraying (C1) and dribbling (C2). The second factor was MKP fertiliser concentration (K) consisting of 3 g/l (K1), 4.5 g/l (K2), and 6 g/l (K3). Data were analysed using ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) and further tested using DMRT. The results showed that the interaction of leaked fertiliser with MKP concentration of 6 g/l (C2K3) gave the highest results in the number of productive branches of (8.2 branches).
