Abstract

The increasingly limited agricultural land available means that efforts are needed to meet the need for quality seeds which increases every year so that long bean production and market demand remain met. To meet the need for quality seeds so that long bean production and market demand remain met, efforts are needed, namely improving cultivation techniques through the application of NPK 16-16-16 fertilizer to meet plant nutrient needs because it contains complete macro nutrients and Gandasil B concentrate foliar fertilizer. contains macro and micro nutrients, a solution for flower loss which is really needed by plants in the generative growth phase. This research aims to determine the interaction of NPK 16-16-16 fertilizer and Gandasil B Foliar Fertilizer on the production and quality of long bean seeds. The research was carried out from September to December 2023 on land in Antirogo Village, District. Sumbersari, Kab. Jember. The experimental design used was a factorial Randomized Complite Block Design (RCBD)which was repeated 3 times. The first factor is NPK 16-16-16 Fertilizer which consists of a dose of 150 kg/ha (P1), a dose of 200 kg/ha (P2), and a dose of 250 kg/ha (P3). The second factor is the concentration of Gandasil B which consists of 7 grams/l (B1), 8 grams/l (B2) and 9 grams/l (B3). Data were analyzed using ANOVA, and continued with the DMRT test at the 5% level. The results of the research showed that the interaction between NPK 16-16-16 fertilizer 250 kg/ha and Gandasil B Foliar Fertilizer 9 grams/l (P3B3) had a significantly different effect on the number of seeds per pod, namely 24 seeds.
