Abstract

Efforts to increase the production and quality of mung bean seeds (Vigna radiata L.) can be done by applying goat manure and giberellin concentrations. This research was carried out in September-December 2023, on the land of Gunung Sari Village, Umbulsari District, Jember Regency and seed technology laboratoy, Jember State Polytechnic. The experimental design used in this research was a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) which consisted of two factors and was repeated 3 times. The first factor is the application of goat manure, consisting of 2 tons/ha (K1), 6 tons/ha (K2), 10 tons/ha (K3). The second factor is spraying giberellin concentration, consisting of 125 ppm (G1), 150 ppm (G2), 175 ppm (G3). The observation results were tested using the F test or ANOVA (Analysis of Variance). If the F test results show a significantly, carry out a further DMRT test. The results showed that the interaction between the application of 10 tons/ha of goat manure and a giberellin concentration of 125 ppm (K3G2) had significantly on the number of pods planted with the best yield of 5,64. The interaction between the application of 10 tons/ha of goat manure and a giberellin concentration of 175 ppm (K3G3) had significantly on seed weight per hectare with the best yield being 1.80 tons.
