Abstract

Regional General Hospital Genteng Banyuwangi still relied on paper-based medical records, The facility continued to operate with manual medical records, resulting in a 44.33% delay in returned medical record inpatients filed for the fourth quarter of 2023. This research aimed to evaluate the hospital's readiness for RME implementation based on the DOQ-IT concept. This study, conducted at RSUD Genteng Banyuwangi with 40 respondents, employed the DOQ-IT concept to assess readiness. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire to determine readiness scores. The readiness analysis categorized Human Resources as ready with an average value of 2.81, Leadership Governance as ready with an average value of 3.1, and Information Technology Infrastructure as ready with an average value of 3.01. Meanwhile, the Organizational Work Culture was not ready with an average value of 2.46. The level of readiness for implementing electronic medical record is at level II with a score of 178,71. Barriers to RME implementation included the absence of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), inadequate computer operation skills, insufficient computers for RME, and limited training from the hospital and vendors. To address these barriers, it was imperative to establish SOPs, increase the availability of computers, and conduct regular training sessions. Keywords: DOQ-IT, Electronic Medical Records, Readiness
