Abstract

I have conduct internship program in PT. NuansaWisata Prima Nusantara Tour and Travel from 12th Februaryup to 11st April 2019. The duration was 10 hours from Monday until Saturday. There were 2 shift, that was morning shift at 7a. m. up to 4 PM and evening shift at 1 PM up to 8p. m. The objective of my internship program is I could apply the skills that I have got from English Study Program. For example Pengelolahan Biro Perjalanan, English Tour and Travel, Public Speaking and Public Relation. Beside apply skills of English; I also apply the soft skills like leadership, problem solving, adaptation and creativity. There were 4 departments there, financial department, operating department, sales department, and marketing department and I conduct the internship program in operating department and marketing department. In specific job, I did in marketing department. I did some job in marketing department, such as arranged tour package and give information to the costumers about the tour package. Besides that I also calculate the cost for the tour package, making a telephone to some hotels to ask their rome rate. In conclusion I think PT. Nuansa Wisata Prima Nusantara Tour and Travel is the best place in conducting internship program especially for the student that has interesting in tour travel. During the internship program I could learn many things related with tour travel that did not learn in English Study Program. I also get the experience about the work place.
