Abstract

BLDC is a direct current motor that requires a voltage in the direction to run it. The magnet on the shaft of the motor will be attracted and pushed by the electromagnetic force that is set by the driver on the BLDC motor. On the BLDC electric motor 350 watt are used as initial specifications to be modified on the coil wire with purpose to increase the BLDC motor power to 450 watt. Because of this disability electric motorcycle there were additioned materials on the frame, so with increase the power the BLDC motor purpose to adjust the material load with the motor power. This research was conducted at Jember State Polytechnic, with the experimental method. That result obtained if the diameter of the coil wire is increasingly raised then the value of the RPM the resulting more increasing and the increase in current also have increased. While the torque also increased, that is 350 watt BLDC motor contained the torque value is 766,7 Nm for the 450 watt BLDC motor there is a torque value of 1334 Nm both are equal to be obtained at RPM 50
