Abstract

Education in Indonesia is divided between public and private schools, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Al-Baitul Amien Elementary School in Jember, East Java, is one of the private schools that assesses teacher performance manually, raising the potential for subjectivity and social jealousy. A Decision Support System (DSS) is needed to ensure accurate and objective assessments. Through a series of tests, the implementation of DSS using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) successfully achieved an accuracy rate of 80% in assessing teacher performance. This research is expected to provide an effective solution to address the issues of efficient and objective teacher performance assessment, as well as contribute to the improvement of education quality at Al-Baitul Amien Elementary School in Jember.
