Abstract
The PPA (Academic Achievement Improvement) scholarship program is a work program that exists at every university. The purpose of providing scholarships is to reduce tuition costs for students. Apart from that, to appreciate outstanding students, Jember State Polytechnic, as one of the higher education institutions in Indonesia, understands the importance of the PPA (Academic Achievement Improvement) scholarship program in supporting outstanding students. However, in providing PPA scholarships, institutions need an efficient and accurate system for selecting scholarship recipients. Predetermined criteria include GPA, parents' income, semester, proof of re- registration for the last semester, photocopy of PKKMB certificate, photocopy of KTP, photocopy of KTM, photocopy of family card, certificate of incapacity from the sub-district/district, certificate of joining the organization, photocopy of certificate/charter award. The SAW method is a method also known as the weighted addition method. From the use of this method, testing was carried out using a user acceptance test, it can be concluded that of the 8 respondents, 47.5% said they strongly agreed, 42.4% said they agreed, 6.8% said they were neutral, 1.7% said they disagreed and strongly disagreed.
