Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of adding feed ingredients from soy sauce dregs and cassava peels to feed on reproductive performance when laying quail's genitals are ripe. The research method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) method using 200 quails. Then it was divided into 4 groups with different levels of soy sauce pulp and cassava peel flour, namely P0 = basal feed without the addition of 0% soy sauce pulp and cassava peel, P1 = basal feed + 5% soy sauce pulp and cassava peel, P2 = basal feed + 10% soy sauce pulp and cassava peel, P3 = basal feed + 15% soy sauce pulp and cassava peel. Each treatment was repeated 5 times so that 20 units were obtained with a total of 10 quails per experimental unit. Parameters observed were quail weight at genital maturity, egg weight at genital maturity, quail age at genital maturity. The results of this study indicated that the addition of feed ingredients from soy sauce dregs and cassava peels had a significant effect (P<0.05) on egg weight at sexual maturity and quail age at sexual maturity but had no significant effect (P>0.05) on quail weight at sex maturity.
