Abstract

The size of medical record filing room at Yosowilangun Health Center is not up to standard, work tables and chairs are not yet ergonomic, inpatient and inactive medical record do not have a special storage room. The purpose of this research is to create an ergonomic design for medical record document storage room at Yosowilangun Health Center. This type of research is qualitative using interview, documentation, observation and brainstorming data collection techniques. The results of the research are there is a need to design new medical record filing room that is adapted to standard guidelines. The length of chair and width of seat base are 39 cm, the height and width of backrest are 61 cm and 41 cm, the height and length of armrests are 23 cm and 42 cm, the minimum and maximum seat height are 35 cm and 39 cm. The table length is 150 cm, 72 cm in width, and 74 cm in height. Filing shelf height 190 cm, width 25 cm, length 150 cm, sub shelf height 37 cm. Based on the calculation results, the need for active filing shelves is 8 shelves and 6 inactive shelves. The new medical record filing room has an area of 36 m2, consisting of active and inactive medical records in accordance with standards. Design a new medical record filing room using the SketchUp 3D 2021 application. The design pays attention to ergonomic and comfort aspects so that the Health Center can provide facilities according the staff's anthropometry.
