Abstract

Dyspepsia is included in the 10 most reported diseases in the Prajekan Health Center inpatient unit. Based on a preliminary study in March 2022, the completeness of the medical records of BPJS patients hospitalized with dyspepsia cases in the quantitative analysis variable contained incompleteness in aspects of the patient's social data, the validity of the records and the procedure for recording. In the administrative qualitative analysis variable, there are inconsistencies in the aspects of the record review. This study aims to analyze quantitatively and qualitatively administrative medical records of inpatients in cases of dyspepsia at the Prajekan Bondowoso Health Center. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative with observation and documentation data collection techniques. The research object used was 77 medical records of BPJS inpatient dyspepsia patients from January to March 2022. The results of the study found that there were still many incompleteness and inconsistencies in filling out the medical records of inpatient dyspepsia cases. In the quantitative analysis variables, the patient's social data aspects (full name, RM number, full address, and age), validity of the records, recording procedures (date, time, fixed line, and method of correction), and review of records. In the administrative qualitative analysis variable, in the aspect of recording review the filling indicators are not gaps so it is necessary to socialize medical records by medical recorders to inpatient work units to improve services related to the completeness of filling in inpatient medical records.
