Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the total production costs incurred and to find out the total revenue and profits earned by broiler breeders with different business scales. This type of research is descriptive quantitative using 9 respondents. The variables used are total production costs, revenue, profit and R/C ratio . The lowest total production cost is IDR 303.152.102 on a small business scale with an average population of 8,000 to 10,000 chickens and the highest is IDR 479.239.959 on a large scale business with a population of 14,000 to 16,000 chickens. Meanwhile, the value of the R/C ratio shows a number greater than 1 , namely on a small business scale the value is 1.0 4 , the medium business scale is 1.0 8 and the large scale is 1.1 2 . So that from the value of the R/C ratio , large scale businesses get bigger profits and are feasible to develop. The lowest average total in come is IDR 316,330,384 on a small business scale and the highest is IDR 533,830,940 on a business scale. Meanwhile, the lowest profit is IDR 18.953.929 on a small business scale and the highest profit is IDR 45.795.988 . The difference in acceptance and prof it obtained is due to the different broiler populations.
