Abstract

The final project report is “Making a Video as a Prototype of a Hybrid Ethnic Travel Mart.” The HETM program is a futuristic idea that has passed funding for a student creativity program (PKM) in 2022. Therefore, the next step to make it easy to realize the HETM program is to create a prototype that explains the program simulation clearly. The function of the video prototype is as a medium to test the program. In addition, the prototype video serves to find out whether the concepts that have been introduced can be implemented. To finish this final project, the writer used three steps in creating a video. The three steps include Preproduction, Production, and Postproduction. In addition, the writer used a documented method to collect the data as the materials for creating the video. The writer gained a lot of knowledge after completing this final project. First, she has acquired writing skills from writing a report. Second, she gained pronunciation skills as a voiceover because she must pronounce all the words correctly when recording the audio. In addition, she faced several challenges when collecting the data. And the last, the writer successfully created a product by learning new editing techniques. In conclusion, the final project titled "Making a Video as a Prototype of a Hybrid Ethnic Travel Mart" has completed by the writer under the direction and guidance of the supervisor. In this way, this futuristic idea becomes more visible and realizable. The writer advises the English Study Program to add materials for making 3D designs in student courses. Therefore, when students work on the final project in the form of a prototype, they find it easy. In addition, the skills to make 3D designs are currently in great demand and can become a student portfolio when looking for work later.
