Abstract

Information technology plays a crucial role in enhancing the speed and accuracy of data processing, transforming it into valuable information. Effective accounting information systems support company performance and human resources by providing accurate information for decision-making. An efficient accounting information system enables efficient data management and promotes good corporate governance. PT Mitra Jamur Indonesia's accounting information system faces challenges such as analyzing functional and non-functional requirements, documenting accounting information, system integration, UI/UX design, and implementing financial accounting standards. The development of an accounting information system aims to improve business processes, financial management, and corporate governance. The results show that the implementation of the system enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of financial management, ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and financial analysis. The system implementation supports strategic decision-making and regulatory compliance. Training and effective management support are essential for understanding the system, data, and interpreting financial reports. A well-implemented accounting information system improves the financial performance of the company. The User Acceptance Test- viii Black Box (UAT) evaluation of the SIM-OP application yielded a total weight of 912 out of 24 tested features. The evaluation scores were 145 for A, 46 for B, 1 for C, and 0 for D and E. The functional testing of the SI-MOP application met the criteria of being highly functional, with an average weight calculation of 4.75 rounded up to 5 (A grade).
