Abstract

Subsidized Fertilizer is a product that is supervised by the government where distribution and procurement is subsidized by the Government in order to fulfill the needs of farmers in carrying out agricultural cultivation, so as to to get fertilizer subsidies farmers are required to submit needs subsidized fertilizer through RDKK. The role and participation of farmers in the group farmers in preparing RDKK at BPP Sumberwringin Bondowoso Regency still relatively low so that the implementation of this research aims to analyze the various factors that are able to give effect to farmer group participation in the preparation of subsidized fertilizer RDKK at BPP Sumberwringin Bondowoso Regency, East Java. Research using the analytical method is in the form of multiple linear regression with the help of analytical tools in the form of IBM SPSS. The independent variables identified in this study are characteristics socio-economic, characteristics of farmer groups, the role of agricultural extension, perceptions farmers, and farmer motivation. The analysis that has been done yields several results conditions, namely that there are four factors that have a significant influence on the participation of farmer groups in the preparation of subsidized fertilizer RDKK in BPP Sumberwringin Bondowoso Regency, namely the characteristics of farmer groups with an effect value of 0.283, the role of agricultural extension agents with value influence of 0.242, perceptions of farmers have a value of 0.209, as well Farmers' motivation has a value of 0.292. As for the factors that are not significant effect on the participation of farmer groups in the preparation RDKK subsidized fertilizers at BPP Sumberwringin, Bondowoso Regency, namely socioeconomic characteristics.
