Abstract
This purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the natural disinfectant of noni extract on the hatching performance of hybrid duck eggs. Materials from this study included noni leaves, ethanol, aquadest, hybrid duck hatching eggs, and manual incubators. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 5 replications. Disinfection treatment of noni leaf extract included: P0 (control), P1 (10% concentration), P2 (20% concentration), P3 (30% concentration), P4 (40% concentration) and each replicate consisted of 5 duck eggs. hybrid. Parameters observed included the percentage of mortality, hatchability and hatching weight of hybrid ducks. Data analysis of hybrid duck hatching egg disinfection results on hatching performance used the Analysis of variance and if there were significant differences it was continued with the Duncan's New Multiple Range Test. The results showed that the natural disinfectant noni leaf extract had a significant effect on the hatching performance of hybrid duck eggs, namely reducing the percentage of mortality and increasing the percentage of hatchability, but had no effect on the hatching weight of hybrid ducks. Natural disinfectant noni leaf extract at a concentration of 30% can reduce the percentage of mortality and increase the percentage of hatchability.
