Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of water content differences and seed processing adjournment on viability and vigor of rice seed (Oryza sativa L.). this research was conducted in September 2018 to Januari 2019 at UPT PSB TPH District VI Banyuwangi. It was applied Randomized Block Design with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor was water content differences consisted 3 levels, 14% (K1), 16% (K2), and 18% (K3). The second factor was processing adjournment consisted 3 levels, 2 weeks (T1), 4 weeks (T2), and 6 weeks (T3). The data was analyzed by using F test (ANOVA) and followed by DMRT 5%. The result of this research shows very real effeck on all treatment. The best interaction on the treatment of water content 14% and processing adjournment 6 week to average results 96,58% at the power growth, 70,83% simultaneosuly growth, Whereas it is non significant on growth speed. Best influence on the water content 14% at average results 47,47% and best prossesing adjournment treatment for 6 week at average results 91,20%.
