Abstract

The accuracy of the coding greatly affects the results of data quality and reporting. Errors in coding the diagnosis will result in inaccurate reporting results and poor quality of information produced. Likewise, what happened at RSUD dr. Abdoer Rahem Situbondo. Based on the results of a preliminary study, a high degree of code inaccuracy was obtained (63%) and the results of the morbidity report were inappropriate. The officer in coding the diagnosis was influenced by individual, organizational and psychological factors. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of individual, organizational and psychological factors on the accuracy of the diagnosis code of inpatient medical records at RSUD dr. Abdoer Rahem Situbondo.The method in this study is an analytical survey with cross sectional approach using binary logistic regression test. The population used is officers who codify in the treatment room as many as 40 people with a sample of 37 people. Ability, skills, leadership, job design variables , attitude and motivation as independent variables and accuracy of diagnosis codes as dependent variables. The research instrument used a questionnaire and a checklist. The results of the study with a total of 6 independent variables determine the independent variables that depend on the dependent variable. The significance value of the variable that < α (0.05) is the sikapi variable. Suggestions from this study the need to increase the ability and skills of officers, monitoring and assessment of the accuracy of the code needed by the leadership, and for further research is expected to develop research on other factors that affect the accuracy of the diagnosis code that does not need this research.
