Abstract
The research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Politeknik Negeri Jember, Tegalgede Village,Sumbersari District. The aim of this study was to increase the production of green beans using Azolla pinnata fertilizer and urea fertilizer. The results of this study showed that: (i) The use of Azolla pinnata fertilizer at a dose of 6 tons per hectare was able to increase the production of mung bean plants. Rainfall is around 1,969 mm to 3,396 mm per year, and temperatures range from 23 - 31º C. The experimental design used in this study was a factorial randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor is the application of Azolla pinnata with three levels, and the second factor is the dose of N (Urea) fertilizer with four levels. The number of replications was determined using the formula (t-1) (r-1) 15, with each of them arranged with 12 treatments repeated 3 times so that 36 units of treatment combinations were obtained. Data analysis using ANOVA and further tested using DMRT 5%. The administration of Azolla pinnata had a significant effect on plant height 7 DAP with the highest average of 5.76 cm, the highest average weight of wet pods of mung beans per plot was 953.3 grams, dry seed weight of mung beans per plot had the highest average of 811.67 grams. And gave a very significant effect on plant height at 35 DAP. The average weight of dry mung beans per sample was 34.12 grams; (ii) The application of Urea fertilizer at a dose of 45 tons per hectare had a very significant effect on the number of pods per sample, the highest average was 54.24, the weight of wet pods of mung beans per sample had the highest average of 58.58 grams, the importance of dry beans per sample was average. The highest average was 34.82 grams and significantly affected the weight of wet pods of mung beans per plot with the highest average
