Abstract

Teenage girls are individuals who experience a transition period from child to adult. It starts from the first menstruation, or what is called menarche. One of the references about menarche for teenage girls is their parents. However, parents do not always educate about menarche as a whole. It may result in traumatic experiences for teenage girls and the development of various inappropriate mitoses. A solution to solve this problem is by educating the PKK cadre and teenage girls in Kemuning Lor Village, Jember Regency, to increase the readiness of parents and teenage girls for encountering the menarche phase by increasing the ease of information access through a mobile application containing educational content related to menarche and menstrual calendar. The activities method consist of literature study, field study, mobile app development, socialization and report. The results show that the community service activity went well. There is an increasing knowledge of most PKK cadres and the teenage girls of Kemuning Lor Village who attended the activity. The participants' high enthusiasm was also seen during the question and answer session regarding menarche. Most of the participants also state that the developed application is quite helpful.
