Abstract

Nutritional health problems for toddlers at the Manggis 15 A Posyandu in Kemuning Lor Village are still quite high. Based on the results of interviews with the Head of Cadre, it was found that from 590 toddlers there were 94 toddlers who were BGM (Below the Red Line), this indicates that there are still many toddlers who experience nutritional disorders. Toddlers who experience nutritional disorders in the long term will be very at risk of becoming stunted toddlers. Stunting toddlers can be detected early through assessment of nutritional status in posyandu activities. The problem experienced by cadre mothers is the limited knowledge of cadre mothers in detecting stinting in toddlers so that cadre mothers only measure height, weight, and age. This Community Service Program activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of cadre mothers. The methods used in this Community Service Program are through literature studies, direct field surveys, counseling activities on nutritional status, anthropometric measurement training, and socialization of the EDOS (Earli Detection Of Stunting) application. This EDOS application is very helpful for cadres in carrying out posyandu activities, especially for early detection of stunting. In addition, the cadres were given a guidebook in the form of modules and leaflets that could be used as a guide in providing Posyandu services. Keywords: Stunting, EDOS, Cadre, Posyandu.
