Abstract

Jenggawah public health Jember implemented SIMPUS in 2017, but on the implementation didn’t optimally because based on the preliminary study found problems including, the system often experiences errors, no IT staff, lack of training, no SOP and implementation evaluation. It is necessary to conduct an assessment of the readiness of the puskesmas for the success of implementing the Information System. The purpose of this study was to analyze the readiness of the Puskesmas in an effort to implement SIMPUS based on theconcept DOQ-IT and the Technology Readiness Index (TRI). This research a quantitative descriptive conducted at the Jenggawah Public Health Center with a sample of 31 respondents. DOQ-IT is more detailed in assessing organizational readiness and TRI measures the readiness of individuals to use new technologies. Collecting data with a questionnaire in order to obtain data in the form of readiness scores. The results of descriptive analysis show that most areas of organizational readiness are in the fairly ready category, namely culture, leadership, strategy, information management, clinical and administrative staff, training, workflow processes, IT support management, and the IT infrastructure area is very ready. The level of individual readiness to use technology at the health center is at a moderate level, namely 70%, meaning that most users are optimistic and innovative in using the system but a small proportion are still resistant to technology. Researcher's suggestion for Public Health Center and Health Agency needs to routine training and more motivate to officers, needs to have SOP and modules,forming IT staff.
