Abstract

The borrowing and returns made at the Puskesmas Nguling are still done manually, there is no recording of medical records in the expedition book on the medical record unit which causes officers to have difficulty finding medical records of patients borrowed by poly. The ineffectiveness of these activities hinders the work of officers and patient service activities if the medical record file has not returned to the medical record room within 1x24 hours. The recording of medical record identities is still done manually using books and Excel so that there is a double recording that is considered ineffective by officers. In addition, the numbering of medical records is recorded manually into a book based on the village code at the Puskesmas Nguling so that it is prone to number errors. The use of computerized technology in the form of an information system for borrowing and returning medical record files is expected to solve various problems in the medical record unit of the Puskesmas Nguling. The purpose of this study was to design an information system for borrowing and returning medical record files at the Puskesmas Nguling to solve the problem. This type of research is Research and Develompent with waterfall method and data collection through observation and interviews. The result of this study is an information system for borrowing and returning medical record files that can facilitate the performance of medical record officers at the Pusekesmas Nguling based on test result carried out by officers using blackbox testing
