Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of fermented rice bran using local microorganisms in Keong Mas as a commercial feed substitution on the performance of super native chickens and to know the lavel of rice bran fermented using local microorganisms in golden snails as commercial food substitution on super chicken performance. The research parameters are feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion. The treatment used was commercial feed substitution starter (BR1) with fermented rice bran namely 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%. The research method used was an experimental method with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The study design uses a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Data analysis using ANOVA. The results showed that the substitution of commercial feed with fermented rice bran had no effect (P> 0.05) on feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion. The conclusion of this study is the substitution of commercial feed with rice bran fermentation using Local Microorganisms in Keong Mas as a commercial feed substitution on the performance of super native chickens up to 15% does not affect the performance of super native chickens.
