Abstract

Partners for community service activities are the Sangkuriang Farmers Group, Garahan Village, Silo District, Jember Regency which has the potential for the availability of Robusta coffee in large quantities but has not tried to process Robusta coffee products optimally so that proper handling is needed. transfer. easy-to-apply technology to improve quality. products through instant coffee making. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of partner coffee farmers in improving the quality of robusta coffee processing, transfer of appropriate new technologies to improve post-harvest handling efficiency of robusta coffee and open up new opportunities. for prospective entrepreneurs with instant robusta coffee products. The method of activity used includes counseling, training, mentoring, and evaluation to ensure the transfer of knowledge and technology goes according to targets and targets so that partner farmers succeed independently. The results of the activity show that 1) Increased knowledge and skills of partners are achieved with a good response and high enthusiasm from partners; 2) Efficiency of post-harvest handling of partner coffee is achieved through the development of instant coffee products made with simple technology and with raw materials available in the field; 3) New entrepreneurial opportunities for partners with packaged instant robusta coffee products.
