Abstract

Agricultural commodity in Indonesia can be used to support the agricultural product processing industry in improving the construction sector and the national economy. One of the agricultural product processing industry in Jember is Industry Household Noodle Ujang who produce raw noodles, dumplings and prawn crackers skin dumplings with flour raw material. The process of making these products has activities - from the procurement of raw materials to products sold to consumers. This study aimed to analyze the activities that generate value, both from inside and outside the company. In addition the analysis of the value chain can help the industry Household Noodle Ujang to identify the activities in the value chain to increase profits and can provide value-added products. This research is descriptive and quantitative sampling technique that is purposive sampling. The value chain of raw noodles, dumplings and prawn crackers dumpling skin on Domestic Industry Noodle Ujang involves two businesses, namely distributor wheat flour as raw material suppliers and industry Household Noodle Ujang as the processing industry. The total revenues of these three products, namely raw noodles Rp. 176 250. 000/month while the lowest total cost, namely skin dumplings Rp. 11,023,333 / month and the biggest advantage is raw noodles Rp. 63,086,066 / month. The added value in the first time the production process of the three products, namely raw noodles ordinary quality Rp. 140 737 and its low added value dumplings leather Rp. 4083.
