Abstract
Coffee plants are one of the plantation crops that can grow and develop well in various areas with various altitudes. Low to medium land areas can be planted with Robusta coffee, while in the highlands it can be planted with Arabica coffee. Based on BPS data for Jember Regency in 2019 coffee production in Jember reached 417.59 tons, but in 2020 it was only 236.90 tons. Declining productivity resulted in insufficient coffee needs both inside and outside Jember Regency. Therefore, to increase coffee production, a Decision Support System (SPK) application was created to provide recommendations for coffee farmers in Jember Regency in determining which land is suitable for planting Arabica or Robusta coffee in Jember Regency. The method used in selecting land for this type of coffee plant uses Promethee. The Promethee method was chosen because it can choose the best alternative from a number of alternatives because of the ranking process after determining the weight on each attribute. The selection criteria were land height, dry period, rainfall, pH, temperature and drainage. The results of this study are a system that can determine which land is suitable for planting Arabica or Robusta coffee, obtained from the calculation process, namely calculating the threshold value, and then looking for the preference index value and determining the values of leaving flow, entering flow and net flow. From the net flow value, it can be determined which land is suitable for Arabica or Robusta coffee plants.
