Abstract

In an effort to increase the productivity of corn plants, researcher tried to make liquid organic fertilizer from coconut husks to reduce the excessive use of synthetic fertilizers. The aim of the study was to analyze the use of liquid organic fertilizer in different time intervals and which treatments that could interact to increase the productivity of corn plants. This research was conducted from June- October 2022, located in Bintoro Village, Patrang District, Jember Regency. This study used a Factorian Randomized Block Design (RAKF), the first treatment using time intervals covering 1 week and 2 weeks, and the second treatment with concentrations of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% liquid organic fertilizers. The results showed a there is interaction in the cob length observation variable with the best average of 15.5 cm, the observation variable wet cob weight per sample with the best average of 207 g, dry shell weight per sample with the best average of 159 g, wet cob weight per plot with the best average of 3.11 kg and dry shell weight per plot with the best average 1.59 kg.
