Abstract
Leptocorisa acuta is a major pest in the crops, especially in rice. In the last decade, farmers intensively use synthetic insecticides that can spur resistance. Early resistance detection needs to be done so that the status of pest resistance can be determined earlier that is useful in preparing a strategy of resistant pest control. This research was conducted in Antirogo Village, Jember use synthetic insecticides and Lombok Kulon Village, Bondowoso use Beauveria bassiana. The objective of this research was to study the resistance status of the Leptocorisa acuta to the synthetic insecticides, the sensitivity to B. bassiana, the growth population and the intensity of attack. The population and the attack intensity data were shown in box-plot form. Resistance ratio was analyzed by probit regression. To distinguish the population and intensity of attack on both area was testing using the Mann-Whitney. The relationship between population and intensity of attack was determine using Spearman correlation. The result of research shown that Leptocorisa acuta in the Antirogo, has been resistant to Fipronil insecticide with the Resistance Ratio was 9.33 and sensitivity to B. bassiana with ratio of resistance Ratio was 0.28. The attack intensity of Leptocorisa acuta on the 9 and 10 weeks after planting in the Antirogo were 9.38 ± 15.53 % and 5.83 ± 11.06 %. The attack intensity of Leptocorisa acuta on the 9 and 10 weeks after planting in the Lombok Kulon were 2.36 ± 5.85 % and 1.50 ± 5.37 %. The population of Leptocorisa acutain on the 9 and 10 weeks after planting in the Antirogo were 0,57 ± 0,94 and 0,37 ± 0,66. The population of Leptocorisa acutain on the 9 and 10 weeks after planting in the Lombok Kulon were 0,39 ± 0,53 and 0,20 ± 0,40.
