Abstract

Corona virus is a virus that emerged at the end of 2019 in Wuhan, China. This virus infects the respiratory system with symptoms such as fever, coughing, sneezing, and shortness of breath, sore throat, headache, movement, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, and others.To detect COVID-19 on the person, a diagnosis by an expert is needed, one way is an expert system. Expert system is a system that adopts the knowledge of an expert to solve a problem like an expert. This expert system uses the factor certainty method that accommodates the belief value in an event (fact or hypothesis) based on evidence or experts. The results of this study indicate an accuracy rate of 100% using manual testing and expert judgment and this system has been running well because it has been tested using blackbox testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
