Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the effect, relationship between variables and the amount of contribution (contribution) to small-scale laying hens on family income in Sukowono sub-district. This research was carried out in the laying hens business in Sukowono District. This research is a type of quantitative research. The sampling technique was purposive sampling on the grounds that the laying hens business had an adequate business scale and livestock population. Collecting data in this study using interviews and documentation. Performed calculation analysis. The results of the study on the income of the largest breeder were on a scale IV of IDR 3,086,117, the highest total family income from non-farm came from farmers, and the contribution of small-scale laying hens business income to family incomes of scale I and scale II was less than 30% included in the sideline business while scale III and scale IV get a contribution value of above 30% including in the category of business branches Keywords: Laying Hens, Contribution, Family Income
