Abstract

One of the problems in edamame soybean cultivation is the attack of Riptortus linearis F.. To suppress the attack of Riptortus linearis F., an environmentally friendly entomopathogenic fungus can be used. The purpose of this study was to determine the right concentration to suppress Riptortus linearis F. This research was carried out in two places, in the laboratory and in the field. The research design used non-factorial RAL consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications.The concentrations used were: control, density spore 104, density spore 106, and density spore 108. The results of this study showed that the concentration of the fungus Beauveria bassiana against Riptortus linearis F. had a significant effect on mortality at a concentration of 108. However, it had no significant effect on population and attack intensity.
