Abstract

Decision support system is a computer-based system that is intended to assist decision making in utilizing data and models to solve various unstructured problems. In this study, a decision support system was built aiming to determine the best supplier using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The AHP method is used to provide an assessment based on the comparison results of the assessment criteria. Then the results of the assessment obtained by the AHP method are adjusted to the grade owned by the company to be able to determine the size of the best supplier. Therefore, here the author will build a decision support system for selecting the best supplier in the plywood industry. This method is expected to help provide answers to the results of the best supplier recommendations for the company.
