Abstract

In this study, researchers made a decision support system for recipients of social assistance in the village of kesambirampak simple additive weighting method. Problems with the population that occurred after the covid-19 incident resulted in many people losing their jobs. This is a concern for the residents in the village of kesambirampak because the residents have lost their livelihoods and jobs and also the existence of social assistance from the village which is still using the manual operating system from the recommendation of local officers to manual data input by the village. Therefore, a decision support system (spk) for social assistance recipients in kesambirampak village was created with the simple additive weighting method as a solution for residents and village parties so that there are no wrong recipients of assistance. For this study, the researcher conducted interviews with the head of the government section of kesambirampak village and also the recipients of the previous period of assistance who received assistance. There are 5 criteria based on government regulations to get assistance, the first criterion is education. The second criterion is work, the third criterion is income, the fourth criterion is occupancy and the fifth criterion is physical condition. The five values will be processed through the calculation of simple additive weighting. From this calculation, it produces an output in the form of recommendations for social assistance recipients in kesambirampak village so that there are no more mistakes in terms of providing social assistance.
