The Influence of Characteristics farmer, Counseling and Institusional on Income Enhancement Through The Sheep Fattening Ability of KTTS MITRA SUBUR Partnership in Bondowoso Regency Anita Yuliana 1,Tanti Kustiari 2, Ujang Suryadi 3 1 Student of Postgraduate Agribusiness, Politeknic Negeri Jember 2 Lecturer of Postgraduate Agribussines, Politeknik Negeri Jember 3 Lecturer of Postgraduate Agribussines, Politeknik Negeri Jember ABSTRACT Bondowoso Regency is one of the regencies in East Java that has the potential to develop sheep farming business. According to BPS data (2021) the population of sheep was recorded at 51.235 heads, demand for meat consumption was 6522 heads.One of the partnerships whose role is quite large in the development of sheep livestock in Bondowoso Regency is the Syari'ah Farmers' Livestock Cooperative (KTTS) "Mitra Subur" where the sheep fattening program occupies the most popular position with 116 members spread over 14 districts. The field shows that the breeders (partners) have not fully mastered the ability to cultivate sheep fattening correctly, this causes livestock productivity to not be optimal so that business capital becomes high and consequently income is not optimal. The purpose of this study was to prove the significant direct and indirect effect of breeder characteristics, counseling and institutional partnerships on the ability of fattening sheep cultivation and income of sheep breeders (partners) and to prove the direct influence of ability on farmers' income. This type of research includes explanatory research. Data collection methods used are questionnaires and interviews. The analytical tool used to analyze the causal relationship between variables is a path analysis model. The results of the analysis on the direct influence of variable characteristics of breeders, counseling and institutional partnerships showed a positive and significant influence on the ability of fattening sheep cultivation and had an impact on income. Meanwhile, in the indirect effect path that uses the ability variable as an intervening, it shows a positive and significant effect on income. On the path that analyzes the effect of ability on income also shows positive and significant results. Keywords: Fattening ability, income, Path Analysis, Bondowoso.
