Abstract

Catfish is a popular fish among wide community. Catfish is often found in markets and super markets easily. Catfish cultivation and catfish products is also widely found in Pasuruan Regency, one of them is produced by UD. Dua Putri. This business processes catfish fillets into catfish sticks and catfish floss with the purpose to increased the added value of catfish. This study aims to know the value chain of catfish product, analyze the total cost, revenue and profits oh the company and determine the added value of catfish product at UD. Dua Putri. This research is a type of descriptive and quantitative research with data collection methods through direct observation and interviews with related parties, while value chain analysis uses the modified Hayami method. The result of this study shows that the value chain of UD. Dua Putri products, which includes catfish sticks and catfish floss, involves three main sector: Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) as the partner of UD. Dua Putri who supply a raw materials (fillet product), the second is processing section to produce catfish products and the last is distributors who sell and distribute products from UD. Dua Putri to consumers. The cost analysis shows that total production costs is Rp. 6,857,636/month. The total revenue received from the catfish products sales is Rp. 10,800,000/month. While the total income received by UD. Dua Putri Rp. 3,942,364/month. The results of added value analysis using the Hayami method, the added value obtained by the catfish stick products is Rp. 13,749 with a added value ratio of 20.62%.
