Abstract

The purpose of this yield test was to determine the yield of 4 promising lines of green long bean with two comparison varieties. The research was conducted from August 2022 until September 2022. The research was located in the marketing development area of CV. Aura Seed Indonesia, Pare, Kediri, East Java. The study was conducted using a non-factorial randomized block. This study consisted of one treatment with 6 levels and was repeated 4 times for each line and variety. There were 4 lines and 2 varieties. The line was represented by the symbol G and the variety with the symbol V. The data analysis used was the F test (ANOVA) and followed by 5% Tukey test. The results of this study showed that the 954 BP 1 and PP 1.3 lines were better than the other lines and the two comparison varieties, namely in terms of pod length, pod weight per plant, and plant productivity (tonnes/ha), flowering age, and harvesting date. For the 954 BP 1 line, pod weight was 1.04 (kg), and production potential was 9,59 (ton/ha). Meanwhile, the PP 1.3 line was superior in flowering and harvesting date, the flowering period was around 31.38 days after planting and the harvest age was 41.7 days after planting.
