Abstract

The Influence of Yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) and Emulsifier on Performance of Gaok Chicken Fitriya Ernawati Study Program of Poultry Business Management Mojoring of Animal Husbandry ABSTRACT Gaok chicken is one of the local Indonesian chicken families from Madura. The main problem in developing native chickens is low productivity. Mixed yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae-emulsifier is expected to increase growth and productivity of gaok chickens. This study aims to determine the effect and effective and efficient dose of Feed Additive mixed yeast Saccharomyces cerevisia-emulsifier on the performance of Gaok chicken. The method used with 4 treatments 5 replications. Data collection for the tested parameters included feed consumption, body weight gain (PBB) and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR). The data obtained during the study were analyzed using a completely randomized design (CRD) with a unidirectional pattern. The results showed that the addition of mixed yeast-emulsifier had no effect (P>0.05) on feed consumption. The highest PBB was obtained in treatment Y2. The results of rearing gaok chickens that were given mixed yest-emulsifier on the feed to the FCR had a value that was not significantly different. So it can be concluded that the results of the study concluded that the addition of mixed yeast-emulsifier in gaok chicken with concentrations of 1 g/kg, 2 g/kg and 3 g/kg had no significant effect on feed consumption, PBB, FCR.
