Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of natural ZPT watering concentration and the optimum concentration of natural ZPT watering on the growth of vanilla plant (Vanilla planifolia Andrews) seedlings. This research was conducted on Jl. Seriti Gendir, Banjar Sengon Village, Kec. Patrang, Jember from May to August 2020. The method used was a Non-Factorial Randomized Design (RAKNF) consisting of 5 treatments, including 5 levels of concentration of natural growth regulators 0 ml / l (control), 15 ml / l , 30 ml / l, 45 ml / l, 60 ml / l. With top soil and husk as media, each treatment consisted of 5 blocks. Further testing was carried out with the Least Significant Difference (LSD) at 5% level. The results of the study of the application of natural ZPT concentrations to the growth rate of vanilla seedlings had a significant effect on the parameters of plant seed height, and the number of plant leaves, with the optimal concentration, namely the P2 treatment or with a concentration of 30 ml / l while on the other hand, the application of natural ZPT concentrations to the root volume parameters , plant wet weight and plant dry weight had no significant effect.
