Abstract

Anemia is a nutritional problem caused by a deficiency of nutriens that function to from hemoglobin. Adolescent girls are at a higher risk of developing anemia than boys. To address the problem of anemia in adolescent girls, health education related to anemia is necessary. Educational media, such as quartet cards, are needed to support this educational activity. The purpose of this study was to develop hemocard quartet cards as a medium for anemia education for 7th-grade students at MTs Negeri 1 Situbondo. This research is a Research and Development study using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. This study used media validation and acceptability tests. Media validation was conducted by two validators: a material validator and a media validator. The results of the study indicate that the Quartet Cards achieved a score of 90% for the media validation test and 87% for the material validation test, categorizing them as very valid and requiring no revision. The results of the study indicate that the acceptability test administered to female students achieved a score of 95%, categorizing them as very suitable for use.
