Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of snail probiotics on the interior quality of broiler chickens during storage. This study was conducted using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) experimental method. If there is a significant difference, it will be continued with the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) using 90 laying hens divided into 3 treatments with snail probiotic levels, namely P0 (control), P1 (10 mL), P2 (20 mL) with 6 replications and each replication contains 5 chickens. The parameters observed were the interior quality of broiler chicken eggs, namely the Egg Yolk Index (IKT), yolk color,and yolk weight. The results of the study showed that the administration of snail probiotics on the interior quality of broiler chicken eggs during storage with reduced concentrate did not have a significant effect (P>0.05) on the yolk index, yolk color, and yolk weight.
