Abstract
The library at SMP Negeri 1 Bagor is still managed manually, resulting in various challenges such as the absence of a catalog system, difficulties in searching for books, inefficient data management, and limited access to library services. This study aims to design a user interface (Front-End) for a digital library website using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which is iterative, along with the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to measure user experience related to system interface and interaction. The interface is designed to be interactive, responsive, and user-friendly, featuring user accounts, book catalogs and search, e-book access, data management, reading interest reports, fine management, announcements, learning recommendations, and notifications. The UEQ results, involving 89 students, 33 teachers, and 4 library staff, show positive scores with Excellent and Good categories, indicating good interface quality and user experience. Therefore, this website design improves service efficiency, facilitates information access, and supports the smart village concept towards a digital village.
