Abstract

The growth of online business among MSMEs still relies heavily on manual order recording through social media, making it prone to writing errors and inefficient in terms of time. This study aims to address these issues by developing a mobile application based on Optical Character Recognition (OCR) using Google ML Kit combined with Regular Expression (Regex) to automatically transform unstructured order data into structured shipping data. The system is developed using the Waterfall method, with Flutter as the mobile interface framework and Firebase as the database. System evaluation includes Black Box Testing, and System Usability Scale (SUS). The results show that the system performs well with 100% functional validity, high OCR accuracy on digital images (98%) and camera images (85%), but lower accuracy on handwritten text (46%). Additionally, the application significantly improves time efficiency and achieves a SUS score of 79.08, indicating that it is well-accepted and easy to use by users.
