Abstract

Internship Program is one of the principal program that has included in Politeknik Negeri Jember curriculum. This is become one of the requirements to finish the study. Internship program also as the part of education that has involved the study process based on the experiences beyond the teaching-learning system with the lecturers directly. Individually, the students are prepared to get the special experiences from the reality in the work place. Internship program is needed to enter the industrial business as a professional worker in the future, because the companies are not only checking the academic record to verify the learning potential but also the relevant work experience and appropriate skills. I considered Adi Sumarmo International Airport Surakarta as the Airport to conduct my Intership Program, because Adi Sumarmo International Airport Surakarta is an international airport which committed to provide hospitality and service. I got an opportunity to handle jobs in Information Unit. I focused on the activities of Information Staff. I learned how to become a good Information Staff in the Airport, from that position.
