Abstract

This report focuses on my activities in service of tourism section of Probolinggo Regency in Culture and Tourism Department. This department has enormous responsibility in managing tourism Object in Probolinggo Regency. The writer decided to conduct Internship Program in Culture and Tourism Departmen due to my interest at Public Speaking, Public Relation, Agrotourism, and English for Correspondence. During Internship Program in Culture and Tourism Department, the writer was placed in the service of tourism section. In Service of tourism Section, the writer got duties to develop strategy in promoting and marketing tourism object of Probolingo Regency. The writer applied promoting and marketing strategy making media promotion like banner and booklet. Besides that, The writer also did promotion by conducting the event and exhibition. During my internship program, the writer also got the problems when become Event Organizer and making media promotion. When the writer conducted this program, the writer could apply directly the skills and knowledge that she had gotten from state Polytechnic of Jember. The writer could make conclusion Culture and Tourism Departmentis a suitable place to conduct an internship program.
